Profile
I defended my PhD at Prof. Brad Mahon's lab at the University of Rochester in New York in 2018, where I studied how human represent object knowledge with machine learning techniques, and gained a wealth of experience designing and programming computer-based
tests with Python and Matlab.
Following that I was a postdoctoral research scientist in Prof. Vankee Lin's lab, where I conducted research on applying machine learning to brain data in Alzheimer's disease field.
In July 2023, I joined Lucid Motors as a Frontend Developer, eager to apply my combined skills and knowledge in software development, machine learning, and cognitive research. While my position primarily focuses on the frontend, I am equally intrigued by the challenges and complexities of the backend. I'm enthusiastic about contributing to the design and development of innovative solutions that can enhance people's lives.

Experience
Frontend Developer
2023 to Present at Lucid Motors, Newark, California
- Developing front end website architecture.
- Building comprehensive, interactive software applications.
- Collaborating with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
Postdoctoral Researcher
2018 to 2021 at University of Rochester, Rochester, New York
- Authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications with a total citation count 490 and mentored 5 students.
- Programmed computer-based tests with Python and Matlab for a range of individuals.
- Applied machine learning techniques to multimodal neuroimaging (functional and structural MRI, functional connectivity, diffusion MRI) and psychophysiology data using Python, R, and Matlab.
- Developed an innovative computational approach to identify specific brain markers, which can serve as a potential target for developing effective cognitive training.
- Utilized a novel sliding window approach for identifying task-independent ECG shapelets which successfully predicted cognitive and neural gains after training.
